Fantastic weekend for our Mustangs at one of my favorite race tracks. P4 at the end for our car after a great stint from Joey in the first hour. With a stellar stop by our super fast boys we came out in P2, jummed two positions and I was ready to fight for the victory. A penalty for too fast fueling, which is under investigation as it gets checked before and by the way and regardless we were coming out in P2, resulted in a drive through and I dropped to P last! Our 🐎 felt great and I was able to get back to P4 and past a few cars, which was a lot of fun. Good battles out there and I pushed super hard to get on the podium, but time was running out. So P4 it is and super happy for Mike and Harry for the first podium in our Mustang. Fotobomb Road America 🐎P8 at the end and tough luck for our 65 Mustang. I felt good in the beginning of the race, had good strong battles and came in on P2. Our boys and girls did great stops and good calls. Only bodywork repair after more battles cost us our first podium. Nothing Joey could have done different.
