With the „Mobile 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring“ the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship (IWSC) will start their second round. For Dirk Müller and the team of Ford Chip Ganassi Racing the second race with the new Ford GT.

After the Swiss living finished seventh in Daytona together with his team mates Joey Hand and Sebastian Bourdais, the first points were made in the very strong GTLM class during the long 24h race in Daytona.

„We have finished two very good test days in Sebring and could drive a lot of miles easily. We were able to run our program and collected some great data. I am very happy about the new car and can hardly expect to climb back again in the cockpit of our fantastic Ford GT. However we have extremely strong opponents in our class, but I am very confident that we have a chance to fight for the podium“, according to Dirk Müller.

The six-kilometre-long „Sebring International Raceway“ in Florida, established on the former airport area oft he Hendrick Army Airfield, makes to the man and the machine the highest demands. Teammates in the Ford GT with the #66 will be once more Joey Hand and Sebastian Bourdais.

The 12h-race starts on Saturday 19th of March at 10.40 local time (16.40 CET). (www.byjogi.de)
